How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?
It's the beginning of the year and its that time to take a long hard look at what's important to you and how we can all live a more healthy lifestyle.
First things first:
If your diet is wrong you will be lacking in energy, endure highs and lows throughout the day and be unable to maintain your focus and concentration. Add to this a whole host of medical issues that can come from a diet lacking in wholesome foods and you can begin to realise the importance a healthy diet is to your health and wellbeing.
The right foods in your diet can transform your energy levels, leaving you feeling energised and healthy from the inside out.

By looking at the food they have been eating and monitoring energy levels we have worked out successful eating plans for them to get their energy levels back, increase their fitness and bust stubborn body fat.

Setting your personal health and fitness goals is very much the same as you would use in planning the success of a business only in this case the business is you and your health, fitness and wellbeing.

The secret to getting the body of your dreams is not so much a secret but does come down to a number of factors:
Plan to succeed
Your Drive - the reason WHY you want it
Setting Realistic Achievable Goals
Data - recording your exercise sessions and food intake
Education - giving you the tools to manage your body in the future
Having the support of a coach or someone to recognise the positives and to encourage you when you are feeling low.
When you understand the reasons WHY you want something it will keep you focused on it, enable you to stick to the plan and make it real. The more real a picture you have in your mind of who you will be, the more successful you will be.
The final part and the most controversial is that getting the body of your dreams, reaching a new personal best, running a marathon, completing a triathlon or any new sporting pursuit is that they can take time. If you want to lose weight or develop more strength, for lasting positive effects it takes time for the body change.
Yes, you can go on crash diets and lose weight very quickly but the weight loss will mainly be water weight and will go straight back on when you start to eat normally again. Often with the long-term result that you will be heavier than when you first started the diet.
A calorie controlled diet with exercise will get you amazing results that will last a lifetime not just a couple of months.
